JOHNSON M. Eric - 1931-2019 It is with profound sadness that we wish to announce the sudden passing of Eric Johnson of Granby on September 23, 2019 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by Kathleen Ingram, his loving wife of 65 years. Eric worked in the textile industry for over 50 years. He started his career at an early age for Stark Ribbon and worked his way up to President and CEO of LaGran Canada Inc. (Burlington Industries) He was also an avid golfer and a lifetime member of the Miner Golf Course in Granby. Loving father of : Lynda (Daniel), Steven (Manon), Jennifer (Gilles); cherished grandfather of : Mike, Lindsay, Amanda, Meghan, Cameron; proud Great-grandfather of : Brandy, William, Cedrik; his brother-in-law : John Ingram (Nancy); His sisters-in-laws : Laurette Duquette Johnson, Rosette Lessard Ingram; his nieces and nephews : Alison, Andrew, Catherine, Susan, Peter; the late David; as well as his close family and friends, especially Terry Cornish, Denise Skinner and Carol Lidstone. The family would like to express their gratitude to Doctor Paul Ouellette and nurse Claudette Robert for the good care provided. Cremation was held in Granby at Les Jardins Funéraires Bessette Crematorium. The family will receive condolences at LES RÉSIDENCES FUNÉRAIRES BESSETTE IN GRANBY, Saturday, October 5th 2019 from 9 : 00 a.m. to 11 : 00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 : 00 a.m. in the chapel.
